Minnesota Valley Wildlife Refuge - Bloomington Ferry Unit

 

We will meet at the parking lot for the Bloomington Ferry Unit and then follow a dirt trail northeast along the river. The trail winds through the woods where we can see herons and egrets on the water as well as several song birds that call the flood plain forest their home. The trail is somewhat uneven, but not terribly hilly. Bring water and a snack and wear bug spray. Dogs are allowed on leash.
