Open Orientation for Outings Leaders

Do you love hiking, canoeing and camping? Would you like to meet other people who share your passion for the outdoors?

Then you are just the person we're looking for to lead North Star Chapter outings with the Sierra Club. Join us for our open orientation and learn how to become a leader, find out what trips you can lead and what resources are available to support you in planning and leading local outings. We'll talk about the current outings program and tell you how to become a part of Sierra Club Outings. You'll also learn about training offered by the Sierra Club's San Francisco office and the variety of experiences you can share as an outings leader.

The two-hour session will have an indoor and outdoor component, so please dress for the weather.

This class is free and no experience is necessary.
