Help Preserve Bass Ponds Area

We will be working in the Bass Ponds area of the Minnesota River Valley removing Garlic Mustard, an invasive species. Please dress for the weather (long pants are best to protect your legs) and wear boots or sturdy shoes. Bring water to drink and bug repellent if desired. Safety goggles and gloves are available, but feel free to bring your own.

Bass Ponds Parking Area

We meet at the Bass Ponds Parking Area. The Bass Ponds trail head is at the end of East 86th Street, approximately two miles from the National Wildlife Refuge Center. From I-494, exit on 24th Avenue. Drive south past the Mall of America and turn left onto East 86th Street. Follow the road on the left to parking area.
