Afton State Park
Work off the holiday pounds with an invigorating snowshoe hike.
Afton State Park features steep bluffs and rolling prairie trails, as well as beautiful views of the St. Croix River. We will hike a three miles on the snowshoe trail. Bring a small backpack with water, lunch and winter accessories (hat, mittens, etc.). Dogs are allowed on leash.
Ski trails will be open and groomed for those who wish to ski on their own after the hike. Dogs are not allowed on the ski trails.

Rating: Strenuous.
Directions:
From St. Paul, go 9 miles east on I-94, then 7 miles south on Highway 95 and 3 miles east on County Road 20.
