Full Moon Hike

Minnesota Valley Wildlife Refuge

Watch the sun set over wide open marshes and floodplain forest that border the Minnesota River. We will hike down a small dirt and grass trail to the edge of the river and then make a short loop through a prairie/marsh area. The trail can be muddy after rain, so wear hiking boots. Meet at the west end of the parking lot. Moonrise is at 6:50pm and sunset is at 7:03pm.

Dogs on leash are allowed.

Directions:

The Wilkie Unit is located a half mile west of Hwy. 169 and County Road 101 junction in Shakopee, on County Road 101. Entrance is on the right.
