Come see what makes Cabin Creek Special
The Sierra Club's North Star Chapter has designated Cabin Creek Roadless Area a "Special Place" and committed to preserving this forest. The closest forest to Lake Superior, it is an area truly worth the effort to gain protected status. The area is a hub of econological importance - full of trout streams - and recognized for its wild character. The Cabin Creek Unit has been identified by Minnesota DNR's County Biological Survey as having Outstanding Biodiersity Significance. Cabin Creek also provides an exceptional back country recreational experience.
Join us for a brief discussion about Cabin Creek and a hike into the beautiful Cabin Creek area. Dinner and fellowship follow the hike at the Trestle Inn (Hiway 7 at Forest Road 358 - Dinner expense not included). Saturday night lodging available at Wolf Ridge. RSVP and we'll reserve a space - dorm style rooms, $22.50 per person. Linens $5 extra.
