Back by popular demand !!! Last year we were full to the gunwales, so reserve your spot early.
Only 12 spots left.
Join us for a wonderful weekend at Wild River State Park along the now untamed and scenic St. Croix River about an hour north of the Twin Cities. Visit the site of a former dam and learn about restoring river habitat. Enjoy gourmet camp cooking, Tom's famous Dutch Oven cobbler, learn new skills, and meet fellow Sierra Club members. Weekend activities will include hiking and an optional canoe trip on the St. Croix. Cost is $35/person until June 13, $40 until June 23 cut off. Fee includes camping and food for the weekend. Optional canoe trip - $17.50/person. Group size is limited. No dogs or children under 14, please.
Rating: Moderate. New campers/canoers are most welcome! Equipment available for loan.
Directions:
The park is 14 miles east of I-35 (North Branch, Exit 147) off State Highway 95 and County Road 12. We are at Group Site 2.
